Our CNC machining centre then ensures the accuracy of the hinge details. Finally, UMAY assembles the hinges using 10 assembly machines.

3、Rigorous Surface Finish
UMAY employs a meticulous approach to surface finishing, including the critical steps of polishing, plating and surface preparation.
UMAY uses polishing machines to polish the surface of the hinges to give them a smooth, shiny finish and to remove surface burrs and impurities to improve the look and life of the hinges.
Our surface treatment includes painting and plating. Through these processes, we can obtain a wide range of surface colours including chrome, brushed nickel, black nickel, gold plating, black and white.
All UMAY steel hinges have a very smooth surface finish of 130 microns on all parts, although higher finishes can be achieved. After machining, all our hinges are subjected to a salt spray test of no less than 96 hours to ensure superior corrosion resistance and a long-lasting, durable appearance.
