The composition of ADC12 aluminum alloy mainly includes elements such as aluminium, copper, iron, silicon, zinc, manganese, magnesium and nickel. Among them, the content of aluminium is between 85.4% and 88.4%, the content of copper is between 2% and 3%, the content of iron is 1.3%, the content of silicon is 9.5% to 11.5%, the content of zinc is 3%, the content of manganese is 0.5%, the content of magnesium is 0.1%, the content of nickel is 0.3% Nickel. UMAY has a machine configuration that outperforms its peers. Our 200 tonne die casting machine is suitable for larger handle moulds and can produce 10 or more handles per die casting. As a result, efficiency is increased along with capacity. The higher the tonnage, the higher the pressure on the die casting machine and the better the flow of aluminium that fills our moulds and ensures the surface finish and fineness of the handles.
3、Rigorous surface finish

UMAY combines automated polishing with hand polishing to make every aluminium handle as good as it can be. Learn Door Handles Manufacturing
UMAY Aluminium Handle Factory is an experienced manufacturing facility spread over 30 thousand square feet. It has 10 production groups, each equipped with complete handle machinery. Our team leaders have over 20 years of experience in door hardware manufacturing and each team member has extensive shop floor production experience. Plant operations are run by over fifty certified technicians and many more support staff.
The manufacturing process of aluminium handles starts with die-casting of aluminium ingots, pouring into moulds for forming, demoulding, deburring, then checking the weight and surface sand holes, then polishing, polishing inspection, plating, plating inspection, then assembling, finished product inspection, and finally after everything is inspected and passed, packaging and warehousing.

Die Casting
In the UMAY warehouse, there are always 100 tons of raw materials. Usually, we used ADC12 aluminum and 0# zinc.
Our die casting machine will make these raw materials into various handle shapes. We have 200 ton die casting machines for larger lever molds that can produce 10 or more levers per die cast. As a result, efficiency is increased along with capacity. And the finished product produced by the large die casting machine is more beautiful.
Polishing line
The main purpose of polishing is to remove the burrs on the surface of the product, which is convenient for the next step of plating treatment.
UMAY combines automated polishing with hand polishing to make every door lever as good as it can be. At the same time, we have specialists who carry out in-process quality checks to ensure that the surface of the product is smooth and free of burrs or edges, ensuring that the product meets your quality expectations.
Electroplating line
UMAY provide over 20 colors for door handles, such as shiny chrome, satin nickel, gold plated, shiny coffee, matt coffee, antique bronze, matt black and more.
The plating layer of high-quality door lever is often bright and even, with natural color and good density, and the plating layer is visually thick. Poor quality door levers have dull plating luster, and thin plating and are easy to rust, wear, flake and blister in a short period.
The surface of all UMAY door levers is precisely smooth, with a 130 micron finish on all parts, although higher finishes are possible. After machining, all our door levers pass a salt spray test of no less than 96 hours to ensure that our door levers are ultra-highly resistant to corrosion and have a long-lasting, durable look.

Components of a rose handle:
Each part supports customization with different materials and various colors available.
Handle: The simplest door handles require only a lever and screw. Door handles can be customised in various shapes, colours and materials.
Allen screw hole: The srcew holes are usually drilled underneath or on the inside of the handle.
Inner rosette: The inner rosette supports customisation in various shapes, colours and materials.
Outer ring: The outer ring is part of the rosette, mainly for decorative purposes, and the shape can be customised to various shapes following the rosette.
Rosette shim: Non-essential, decorative only. Covers the surface of the inner rosette and is not required if the inner rosette is finished.

Turn limiter: Only exists in spring loaded handles that control the angle of the handle down, if the handle down distance is too short, the lock’s latch can not be fully retracted back into the lock body, resulting in the door can not be opened.
